Prayer Psalm 27 - כז

PRAYER PSALM 27

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

YHVH - Oree (my Light), and Yeshu'atee (my Salvation), whom shall I fear?  Because  You, Abba, are El Cha'ya'ee (my Life), Ma'ozee (my Strength), whom shall I be afraid of?  Even when my wicked enemies and foes are like an army encamped against me, and they rise up to devour my flesh through war, my heart shall not fear, for my confidence is in You, Elohey Tzva'ot (God of the Armies), for they will stumble and fall.

In these times of trouble, You are, M'tzudatee (my Fortress), and You will hide me in Your strong tower, in the secret place of Your sukkah You will shelter me; You, will set me high upon a rock, so that my head will be lifted up above my enemies all around me.  I pray, Abba, do not deliver me to the will of those adversaries who breathe out violent and false accusations against me!

Hear, YHVH – Ribon Olam (Sovereign), when I cry with my voice! Have mercy upon me, and answer me. Do not hide Your face from me.  Do not turn Your servant away in anger. You have been my help, therefore do not leave me nor forsake me, O El Go'lee (my Redeemer). Even though my father and my mother may abandon me, You, Ro'eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), will take care of me.

Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in Your tabernacle, and I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to You, YHVH El Zu'ree (my Rock).  For there is one thing that I have desired of You, El Ro'ee (My God Who Sees and Provides), that will I seek.  I want to behold Your beauty and to inquire in Your temple so that I may dwell in Your house, the restored house of Ya’acov, all the days of my life.

You have asked me to seek Your face.  You know, Abba, that my heart yearns to look upon Your face, so teach me Your way, O YHVH, and lead me in a smooth path for Your name sake and because of my enemies.  For I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see Your goodness in the land of the living.  Therefore I will wait upon You, El Elyon (Most High), so that You will give me courage and strengthen my heart.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya'acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 51

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

               (Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - Bor’ee (my Creator), You know that I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.  Therefore, I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.   Against You, You only, have I sinned and done evil in Your sight.  Therefore, El Shofet (Judge), You are just when You speak and blameless when You judge.  For You desire truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part You, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), will make me to know wisdom.

O YHVH - Moshi’ee (my Deliverer), have mercy upon me, according to Your loving kindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O YHVH - Yeshua’tee (my Salvation).  Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.  Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Then create in me a clean heart, O YHVH, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take from me Ruach Kod’she’cha (Spirit of Your Holiness).  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by a generous spirit.

For You, El Go’ali (my Redeemer) do not desire sacrifice or delight in burnt offerings, else I would give it. However, the sacrifices that You are interested in are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart; these, O YHVH, You will not despise.  And while my heart is in this condition, I shall teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will be converted to You.

I pray, Abba, in Your good pleasure be merciful to Tziyon and build the walls of Yeru’shala’yim.  Then You will be pleased with the true sacrifices of righteousness, and those who are in Tziyon will burn offerings and whole burnt offerings on Your altar.

O YHVH - Elohey Tzid’kee (God my Righteousness), open my lips, and my mouth will show forth Your praise, and my tongue will sing aloud of Your righteousness.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 118

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

I give thanks to You, YHVH - Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), for You are good; and Your mercy endures forever.  May all Yisrael now say, "Your mercy endures forever."  May the house of Aaron now say,  “Your mercy endures forever.”  May all those who fear You, YHVH, now say,  “Your mercy endures forever." 

I called upon You in my distress, YHVH - Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer), and You answered me and set me in a broad place.  Because You, YHVH - Misga’bee (my Stronghold), are on my side; I will not fear, for what can man do to me?  Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me, for You, Ezree (my Help), are among those who help me.

Even though all nations surround me, in Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), I will annihilate them. Yes, they surround me, but in Your name, YHVH - Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), I will devastate them.  Even though they surrounded me like bees and push me violently that I might fall, YHVH - M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield); You will help me; and they will be devoured like a fire on thorns; for in Your name, YHVH - Mephal’tee (my Rescuer), I shall destroy them.  For it is better to trust in You, YHVH - El Gibor (Mighty God) than to put confidence in man or princes.  You, Tzur Yisrael (Rock of Israel), are the stone, which the builders rejected, but now You have become the chief cornerstone.  This was Your doing, and it is marvelous in my eyes.

YHVH – Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), You are my strength and song; You have become my salvation.  For in the tents of the righteous, I will lift my voice and rejoice in my salvation; for Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand), YHVH, does valiantly.  Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand) is exalted and does gallantly.

YHVH, You have chastened me severely, but You have not given me over to death.  I shall not die, but live and declare Your work.  Therefore, open to me the gates of righteousness, so that I can go through them and praise You.  For this is Your gate, YHVH, through which the righteous shall enter.

This is the day that You, YHVH - Boreh Olam (Creator of the Universe), have made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.  I will praise You, for You have answered me and have become Yeshua’tee (my Salvation). Save now, I pray, O YHVH - El Ro’ee (My God Who Sees and Provides), send now prosperity.

I am truly blessed when I come in Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel).  In your house YHVH, I am blessed.  For in it, You give me light; bind me as a living sacrifice to the horns of Your altar, with cords of love.  You are my Elohim, and I will praise You and exalt You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe).  I will always give thanks to YHVH - Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer), for You are good; and Your mercy endures forever.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

Who is like You, YHVH - El Gibor (Mighty God), Elohey’nu  (our God) El Elyon (God Most High)?  From the rising of the sun, to its going down, Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), is to be praised.  For You dwell on high and are high above all nations Your glory is above the heavens.

O YHVH - Bor’ee  (my Creator), You look down from Your lofty place, and observe the things that are in the heavens and in the earth.  For You, Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), will grant the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children.  You will raise the poor out of the dust and lift the needy out of the ash heap, so that he may sit with princes--with the princes of Your people Yisrael. Hallelu-Yah!

Hallelu-Yah! Hallelu!  I praise You, El Ra’chum (Compassionate God), with all your servants.  I praise Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation)!  Blessed be Your name, YHVH, from this time forth and forevermore!

      Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham,     Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 81

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

"Hear, O My people, and I shall admonish you; O Yisrael, if you will listen to Me, for I am YHVH - Elohey’chem (your [plural] God), Who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

"Blow the Shofar at the time of the new moon and at the full moon, on your solemn feast day.  For this is a statute for you, Yisrael and a law that I, Elohey Ya’acov (the God of Jacob), established with your forefather, Yoseph, as a testimony, when he went throughout the land of Egypt, in a land whose language you did not understand.  I removed your shoulder from the burden; and your hands were freed from the baskets.  You called when you were in trouble and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder.  I tested you at the waters of Merivah;  but you, My people, would not heed My voice and you, Yisrael, rejected Me as king over you; so I gave you over to the stubbornness of your own heart, to walk in your own counsels.

"But if you, My people, in this generation, would listen to Me, and walk in My ways, and have no foreign god among you; nor worship any foreign god, I would soon subdue your enemies, and turn My hand against your adversaries, especially those who hate Me and pretend submission to Me for their fate is sealed forever.  But I shall feed you, Yisrael, with the finest of wheat, and with honey from the rock I shall satisfy you.  Now open your mouth wide, and I shall fill it.”

Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the lute!  Sing aloud to YHVH - Elohey Chizkeynu (God of our Strength), make a joyful shout to Elohey Ya’acov (God of Jacob)! 

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 83

          

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

Behold, YHVH – Elohey Yisrael, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head: the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moav and the Hagrites, Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, P’leshet (Philistia) with the inhabitants of Tzor (Tyre); Ashur (Assyria) also has joined with them.  They are helping the children of Lot.  They have taken crafty counsel against us, Your people Yisrael, and are consulting together against us, Your hidden ones.  For they are consulting together with one consent, they have formed a confederacy against You. They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Yisrael may be remembered no more."

O YHVH - Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), do not keep silent, do not hold Your peace and do not be still, O Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).  Deal with them as with Mid’yan, as with Sis’ra, as with Yavin (Jabin) at the brook of Kishon, who perished at Ein Dor, and who became as refuse on the earth.   Make their nobles like Orev (Oreb), and like Ze’ev (Zeev); yes, all their princes like Zevach (Zebah) and Tzalmunna (Zalmunna), who said, "Let us take for ourselves the pastures of Elohim for a possession."

O Elohi (my God), make them like the whirling dust; like the chaff before the wind!  Just as the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, so pursue them with Your tempest and frighten them with Your storm.  Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’teynu (God of our Salvation).  Let them be confounded and dismayed forever.  Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, that they may know that You, Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), Who alone is YHVH - Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), El Elyon (God Most High), over all the earth.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 71

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

Deliver me, Elee (my God) and Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer), out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.  For my enemies speak against me, and those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together, saying, "Elohim has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”  O YHVH - Ro’yee (my Shepherd), do not be far from me.  O M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), make haste to help me!  Let them be confounded and consumed who are adversaries of my life.  Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor that seek my hurt.

Deliver me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; incline Your ear to me and save me, Yeshua’tee (my Salvation).  Be my strong refuge, for You are Miphla’tee (My Refuge) to Whom I may resort continually.  For I have become as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge.

You have given the commandment to save me, Tzu’ree (my Rock) and M’tzuda’tee (my Fortress). You are Tikvatee (my Hope), O YHVH - El Ne’eman (Faithful God); You are my trust from my youth.  You, Abba, have upheld me from birth.  You took me out of my mother's womb.  I pray, El Ra’chum (Compassionate God), do not cast me off in old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails.  You have shown me great and severe troubles; but You, Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), will revive me and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.  You, Shofet Tzedek (Judge of Righteousness), have confounded and brought to shame those who seek my hurt; but You will increase my greatness and comfort me on every side. Therefore my praise will be continually of You, YHVH - M'na’cha’mee (my Comforter).

O YHVH - Elohey Emet (God of Truth), You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works.  May my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory; and may I tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the days, for I cannot count them. My tongue also will speak of Your righteousness all the day long.  O El Elyon (God Most High), You are very high; You have done great things; O El Yeshua’tee (God my Salvation), who is like You?

O El Olam (Eternal God), when I am old and gray headed do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.  I shall go forth in Your strength; and I shall make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only, El Chiz’kee (God my Strength).  My lips will greatly rejoice when I shall sing to You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.  With the lute I shall praise You for Your faithfulness, O El Ne’eman (Faithful God).  To You I shall sing with the harp, O Kadosh (Holy/Set-apart) of Yisrael.  In You, Cha’ya’i (my Life), I put my trust; let me never be put to shame.  I shall hope continually, and shall praise You yet more and more.
