Corporate Prayer Psalm 56

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi’nu.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

Be merciful to us, YHVH - Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy).  Our enemies hound us all day, for there are many who fight against us; they want to swallow us up; fighting all day, they oppress us. O El Elyon (Most High), all day they twist our words; all their thoughts are against us for evil.  They gather together; they hide, they mark our steps when they lie in wait for our life.  Shall they escape by iniquity?  In anger cast down these peoples, Elo’ey’nu (our God), for You are M’gee’ney’nu (our Protector/Shield).  Our enemies will turn back when we cry out to You, Moshi’ey’nu (our Savior/Deliverer); this we know because You are for us. You measure out our wanderings, and put our tears into Your skin flask, for are they not already written in Your book? Even vows made to You are binding upon us, O Shofet Tzedek (Judge of Righteousness); therefore we will render praises to You, El Tikvatey’nu (our Hope), and whenever we are afraid we will trust in You.

In You, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), we will praise Your Word, and in You, YHVH, we will put our trust; we will not fear, for what can the man of flesh do to me?  You are the only One that we can put our trust in and not be afraid.  For You, Mephal’tey’nu (our Rescuer), have delivered our souls from death. You have kept our feet from falling, that we may walk before You in the light of the living.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi’nu the Almighty reigns!
