Prayer Psalm 29

PRAYER PSALM 29

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - El Elyon (Most High), I give unto You glory, honor and strength.  I give unto You the glory due to Your name.  I desire to worship You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign), in spirit, in truth and in the splendor of Kodesh (Holiness).

Your voice, YHVH - El Kavod (God of Glory), thunders over the waters; just as You stand over many waters.  Your voice, Elohey Yisrael is powerful and full of majesty as it breaks the cedars, yes, even the great cedars of Levanon.  You even make Levanon and Sirion skip like a calf, like a young wild ox.

Your voice, El Shadai (Almighty), divides the flames of fire and shakes the wilderness, the Wilderness of Kadesh. You strip the forest bare, but yet Your voice, Your spoken word makes the deer to give birth.  How much more will You give strength to Your people and bless them with peace!

O El Elyon (Most High), You sit forever as King.  You, Malki (my King), were enthroned; even during the days of the Flood. Let everyone who dwells in Your temple shout, ”kavod”.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 105

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), I give thanks to You, and I call upon Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation), singing psalms and remembering Your marvelous works which You have done, Your wonders, and the judgments of Your mouth, making known Your deeds among the peoples; talking of all Your wondrous works and glorying in Your Kadosh (holy/set-apart), Name.

O Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), because I am one of the seed of Avraham Your servant, and a child of Ya’acov, a chosen one, You are Elohi (my God); Your judgments, Shofet Tzedek (Righteous Judge), are in all the earth.  You, El Ne’eman (Faithful God), remember Your covenant forever, the word which You commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant which You made with my father Avraham and Your oath to Yitzchak, and confirming it to Ya’acov for a statute, to Yisrael as an everlasting covenant, saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.”

When my forefathers were few in number, indeed very few and strangers in it, when they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, You, Moshee’ah (Savior/Deliverer), permitted no one to do them harm; Yes, You rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm."  Moreover You called for a famine in the land; You destroyed all the provision of bread.  You sent a man before them--Yoseph--who was sold as a slave.  His slave masters hurt his feet with fetters and laid him in irons, until the time that Your word came to pass, and Your word tested him.  Then, the king sent and released him; the ruler of the people let him go free.  He made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his elders wisdom.  Later, Yoseph’s father, Yisrael also came into Egypt; Ya’acov dwelt in the land of Ham.

You YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), increased Your people greatly and made them stronger than their enemies. But then You turned the hearts of their masters to hate them, to deal craftily with Your servants.  However, You sent Moshe, Your servant, and Aaron, whom You had chosen.  They performed Your signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.  You sent darkness and made it dark, but they still rebel against Your word.  You turned their waters into blood and killed their fish.  Their land abounded with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.  You spoke, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), and there came swarms of flies and lice into all their territory.  You gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.  You struck their vines also and their fig trees, and splintered the trees of their territory.  You spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number, and ate up all the vegetation in their land and devoured the fruit of their ground.  You also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength.  You then brought out my forefathers, with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among Your tribes.  Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

You spread over Your people a cloud for a covering and fire to give light in the night.  When they asked You, El Ro’eh (God Who Sees and Provides), for meat, You brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.  You, Tzur Yisrael (Rock of Israel), opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river.  For You remembered Your holy promise, to Avraham Your servant and brought out Your people with joy, and Your chosen ones with gladness.  You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), gave them the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, so that they might observe Your statutes and keep Your Torah.

I will seek You, Elohey Avoti (God of my Fathers).  YHVH, You are Misga’bee (my Stronghold), and Oo’zee (my Might); I will seek Your face always!  Let my heart rejoice as I seek You, YHVH - Ro’yee (my Shepherd), and Mal’kee (my King).  Praise You!

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!
