Prayer Psalm 29

PRAYER PSALM 29

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - El Elyon (Most High), I give unto You glory, honor and strength.  I give unto You the glory due to Your name.  I desire to worship You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign), in spirit, in truth and in the splendor of Kodesh (Holiness).

Your voice, YHVH - El Kavod (God of Glory), thunders over the waters; just as You stand over many waters.  Your voice, Elohey Yisrael is powerful and full of majesty as it breaks the cedars, yes, even the great cedars of Levanon.  You even make Levanon and Sirion skip like a calf, like a young wild ox.

Your voice, El Shadai (Almighty), divides the flames of fire and shakes the wilderness, the Wilderness of Kadesh. You strip the forest bare, but yet Your voice, Your spoken word makes the deer to give birth.  How much more will You give strength to Your people and bless them with peace!

O El Elyon (Most High), You sit forever as King.  You, Malki (my King), were enthroned; even during the days of the Flood. Let everyone who dwells in Your temple shout, ”kavod”.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 105

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), I give thanks to You, and I call upon Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation), singing psalms and remembering Your marvelous works which You have done, Your wonders, and the judgments of Your mouth, making known Your deeds among the peoples; talking of all Your wondrous works and glorying in Your Kadosh (holy/set-apart), Name.

O Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), because I am one of the seed of Avraham Your servant, and a child of Ya’acov, a chosen one, You are Elohi (my God); Your judgments, Shofet Tzedek (Righteous Judge), are in all the earth.  You, El Ne’eman (Faithful God), remember Your covenant forever, the word which You commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant which You made with my father Avraham and Your oath to Yitzchak, and confirming it to Ya’acov for a statute, to Yisrael as an everlasting covenant, saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.”

When my forefathers were few in number, indeed very few and strangers in it, when they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, You, Moshee’ah (Savior/Deliverer), permitted no one to do them harm; Yes, You rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm."  Moreover You called for a famine in the land; You destroyed all the provision of bread.  You sent a man before them--Yoseph--who was sold as a slave.  His slave masters hurt his feet with fetters and laid him in irons, until the time that Your word came to pass, and Your word tested him.  Then, the king sent and released him; the ruler of the people let him go free.  He made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his elders wisdom.  Later, Yoseph’s father, Yisrael also came into Egypt; Ya’acov dwelt in the land of Ham.

You YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), increased Your people greatly and made them stronger than their enemies. But then You turned the hearts of their masters to hate them, to deal craftily with Your servants.  However, You sent Moshe, Your servant, and Aaron, whom You had chosen.  They performed Your signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.  You sent darkness and made it dark, but they still rebel against Your word.  You turned their waters into blood and killed their fish.  Their land abounded with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.  You spoke, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), and there came swarms of flies and lice into all their territory.  You gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.  You struck their vines also and their fig trees, and splintered the trees of their territory.  You spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number, and ate up all the vegetation in their land and devoured the fruit of their ground.  You also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength.  You then brought out my forefathers, with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among Your tribes.  Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

You spread over Your people a cloud for a covering and fire to give light in the night.  When they asked You, El Ro’eh (God Who Sees and Provides), for meat, You brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.  You, Tzur Yisrael (Rock of Israel), opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river.  For You remembered Your holy promise, to Avraham Your servant and brought out Your people with joy, and Your chosen ones with gladness.  You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), gave them the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, so that they might observe Your statutes and keep Your Torah.

I will seek You, Elohey Avoti (God of my Fathers).  YHVH, You are Misga’bee (my Stronghold), and Oo’zee (my Might); I will seek Your face always!  Let my heart rejoice as I seek You, YHVH - Ro’yee (my Shepherd), and Mal’kee (my King).  Praise You!

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 135 קלה

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avinu

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father).

We, Your servants YHVH who stand in Your house, the house of Ya’acov, and in Your courts, praise You, we praise Your name Elohey’nu  (our God).  For You have chosen Ya’acov for Yourself and we of Yisrael, his seed, as Your special treasure.  Yes, it is good and pleasant to praise You, Elohey Avotey’nu (God of our Fathers).

I know Abba, that You are great and that You are above all gods.   You will do, whatever You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), please to do, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places.  For You cause the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; You make lightning for the rain; You bring the wind out of Your treasuries.

You Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), destroyed the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.  You sent signs and wonders into the midst of Egypt, upon Pharaoh and all his servants.  You defeated many nations and slew mighty kings -- Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan – You gave their land to our forefathers as an inheritance, a heritage to Yisrael Your people.  Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), endures forever, Your fame, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), throughout all generations.

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.  They have mouths, but they do not speak; eyes they have, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear; nor is there any breath in their mouths.  Those who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them.

You, YHVH - Shof’teynu (our Judge), will judge us, Your people; You will have compassion on Your servants.  All the house of Yisrael will praise You, all the house of Aaron will praise You, and all the house of Levi will praise Your holy Name YHVH.  All those who fear You, YHVH, El Shaddai (God Almighty), will praise You!  We praise You out of Tziyon, O YHVH Who dwells in Y’rusha’la’yim

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acovAvinu the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 72

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

O YHVH - Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), we thank You for giving to our King, Yeshua HaMashiach, Your judgments, O Elohey’nu (our God), and Your righteousness to Your Son.  He will judge Your people with righteousness and Your poor with justice.  He will bring justice to the humble of the people; He will save the children of the needy and will break in pieces the oppressor.  He will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also and him who has no helper.  He will spare the poor and deprived and will save the souls of the needy.  He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; precious will be their blood in His sight.

His anointing will come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, like showers that water the earth.  He will have dominion also from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth.  In His days the righteous will flourish in the abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, and His enemies will lick the dust.  The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will bring presents; the kings of Sh’va and S’va will offer gifts; and the gold of Sh’va will be given to Him.  Yes, all kings will fall down before Him; all nations will serve Him; men will be blessed in Him; and all nations will call Him blessed.  Because He lives, prayer also will be made for Him continually; and daily He will be praised.  His name will endure forever; His name will continue as long as the sun.

There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, on the top of the mountains; its fruit will wave like L’vanon; and those of the city will flourish like the grass of the earth.  The mountains will bring peace to the people and the little hills righteousness.

Throughout all generations they will fear You, Boreh Olam (Creator of the Universe), as long as the sun and moon endure.  Bless You, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel); You only do wondrous things!  Blessed is Your glorious name forever!  We pray, Avinu Ba’sha’ma’yim (our Father in Heaven), that the whole earth be filled with Your glory.  Amen and Amen.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avinu the Almighty reigns!

Shabbat Psalm 92

PRAYER PSALM 92

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Yisrael, my Father)

It is good to give thanks to You, YHVH - Avinu Ba’sha’ma’yim (our Father in Heaven), and to sing praises to Your name, El Elyon (God Most High).  For You, El Shaddai (God Almighty), are on high forevermore.  You are Sim’cha’teynu (our Joy).  You have made us glad through Your work.  How great are Your works!  We shall triumph in the works of Your hands.  O Elohey Emet (God of Truth), Your thoughts are very deep.

A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this, that when the wicked spring up like grass and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is so that they may be destroyed forever.  But our horn You have exalted like that of a wild ox; You have anointed us with fresh oil.  Our eyes also have seen our enemies; our ears have heard the wicked who rise up against us.  For behold, Your enemies, O Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies); for behold, Your enemies will perish; all the workers of iniquity will be scattered.

But because we are planted in Your house, YHVH - Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), we shall thrive in Your courts Mal’key’nu (our King).  We shall still bear fruit in old age; we shall be fresh and flourishing; for only in You, Tzid’key’nu (our Righteousness), will we flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Levanon.  We shall declare that You, Tzur Ma’oz (Rock of Strength), are upright; and that You are Tzu’rey’nu (our Rock), for there is no unrighteousness in You, Elohey Tzedek (God of Righteousness).  Therefore, we shall declare on an instrument of ten strings, on the lute, and on the harp, with harmonious sound, Your loving kindness in the morning and Your faithfulness every night.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi’nu the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 7 ז

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

O YHVH - Eloheynu  (our God), in You, Abba, we put our trust; save us El Yeshua’teynu (our Salvation), from all those who persecute us; and deliver us, lest they, like a lion tear us in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

Behold, El Ezreynu (our help), the wicked bring forth iniquity; yes, they conceive trouble and bring forth falsehood.  They made a pit and dug it out, but let them fall into the ditch, which they have made.  Let their trouble return upon their own head, and their violent dealing come down on their own crown.

Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; as for the righteous, El Shofet (Judge) will test their hearts and minds.  However, our defense is Elohey Yeshua’teynu (God of our Salvation), who saves the upright in heart. Elohim is a just Shofet (Judge), and is angry at the wicked every day.

If the rebellious do not repent and turn back, You, YHVH - Elohey Tzva’ot Yisrael (God of the Armies of Israel), will sharpen Your sword; You will bend Your bow and make it ready.  You also prepare for Yourself instruments of death, by making Your arrows into fiery shafts.  ”For You have bent Yehudah, Your bow, fitted the bow with Ephraim…and made them into the sword of a mighty man" (Zech 9:13).

Arise, O YHVH, return on high, and in Your anger; lift Yourself up because of the rage of our enemies; rise up for us , Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov, to the judgment You have commanded; so that the congregation of your people Yisrael may surround You.

O YHVH - Eloheynu (our God), if we have repaid evil to him who was at peace with us, or have plundered our neighbor without cause, if there is iniquity in our  hands and if we have done this; let the enemy pursue us and overtake us; yes, let him trample our life to the earth, and lay our honor in the dust.

YHVH - El Shofet Yisrael (Judge of Israel), You shall judge the peoples.  Also judge us, O YHVH – Elohey Chesed (God of Lovingkindness), according to our righteousness, and according to our integrity within us. Therefore, we will praise You, YHVH - Elohey Tzid’keynu (our Righteousness), according to Your righteousness, and we will sing praise to Your name, YHVH - El Elyon (God Most High).

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avinu the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 131

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

I pray, Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), that my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty.  Help me not to concern myself with great matters, nor with things too profound for me.  My desire is to abide in You, M'na’cha’mee (my Comforter), so that my soul will stay calm and quiet, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child so should be my soul within me.

I pray that all Yisrael will put its faith and hope in You, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation), from this time forth and forever.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!
