PRAYER PSALM 37

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - El Sh’lomee (my Peace), You have instructed me not to fret nor be envious because of evildoers who prosper in their ways, through scheming wicked works of iniquity.  They borrow and do not pay back.  They plot against the just and gnash at them with their teeth.  The wicked watch the righteous and seek to slay them.  These evildoers have drawn their sword and have bent their bow, so that they may cast down the poor and needy and slay those who are of upright conduct.

O YHVH - El Shofet (Judge), I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading themselves like native green trees.  But You laugh at them, You see that their day is coming.  For You have spoken, that yet a little while and the lawless shall be no more.  Indeed, evildoers shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb, like the splendor of the meadows that vanish in the heat of the summer sun, or like smoke that dissipates as it rises into the sky.  Even the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off and their place shall be no more.  Indeed, they would not be found even if someone would hunt for them.  Your enemies, Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), shall perish, their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.  Transgressors shall be destroyed together and cut off, the future of the wicked shall be cursed by You, the arms of the wicked shall be broken.  Yes, they will perish, pass away and be no more.

But as for me, Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), I pray that You will help me to cease from anger, forsake wrath, and not be fretful nor envious for it only leads to harm.  But may I be like those who wait upon You, Elohey Cha’ya’i (my Life), for only then will I inherit the land.

You have promised in Your Word, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), if I put my trust in You, resting, waiting patiently and doing good, then I will dwell in the land and feed on Your faithfulness. And if I delight myself in You, El Sim’cha’tee (my Joy), You shall give me the desires of my heart.  Therefore I ask You for the wisdom, that I may truly commit my way to You Elohey Tzid’kee (my Righteousness), and trust You, that You may bring it to pass.  Yes, Abba, bring forth through me Your righteousness and Your justice, as the light of the noonday sun.

O El Sh’lomee (my Peace), You have said that the meek shall inherit the earth, and that they shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, but in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.  For those blessed by You El Shaddai (Almighty) shall inherit the earth. O YHVH - Yo’a’tzee (my Counselor), You have declared that what a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.  For the righteous show mercy and give, and You delight in their ways.  You know their days and You uphold them, that their inheritance shall be forever.

The steps of a man are established by You, El Elyon (God Most High), and though he fall he shall not be utterly cast down; for You, Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), uphold him with Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand), Who is mighty.  King David said that when he was young, and even in his old age he never saw the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging for bread.

Help me, Abba, to depart from evil, and to do good, to be merciful and to lend, that I may dwell in the land and live.  For You, Mal’kee (my King), love justice, and will not forsake Your called-out one, but will keep and preserve me and cause me to inherit the land and dwell in it.  May Your Torah be in my heart that I may speak wisdom with my mouth and with my tongue talk of justice.  For it is You who will keep my steps from slipping and will bless my descendants.

For if I wait upon You, YHVH - Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), and keep Your ways, I will inherit the land.  I will also see the wicked cut off, because You, M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), will not leave me in their hands to be condemned by them.  You will deliver me from them and save me.

I thank you, Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer), for You mark the blameless and observe the upright and give peace, strength and salvation in time of trouble; therefore, I will put my trust in You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe).

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

(A composite of) PRAYER PSALMS 2+75+76

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

In Yehuda, You, Elohey Tziyon (God of Zion), are known; Your name is great in Yisrael.  In Sha’lem (Yeru-Salem) also is Your succah, and Your dwelling place is in Tziyon.  It is from there that You, Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), will break the arrows of the bow, the shield and sword of battle.  The stout hearted will be plundered; they will sink into their sleep and none of the mighty men will find the use of their hands.  At Your rebuke, O Elohey Ya’acov (God of Jacob), both the chariot and horse will be cast into a dead sleep.  You will cut off the spirit of princes.

You Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel) have set Your King on Your holy hill of Tziyon (Zion).  You have declared of Him, “You are My Son, today I have begotten You.  Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.  You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel.”  Therefore, I will delcare: “be wise O kings, be instructed you judges of the earth, serve YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little”.

You, Melech HaKavod (King of Glory), are more awesome than all the kings of the earth. You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.  You, Yourself, are to be feared, for who may stand in Your presence when once You are angry?

When You Shofet Tzedek (Righteous Judge), arise to judge and to deliver all the oppressed of the earth, You will cause judgments to be heard from heaven; and the earth will fear and be still.  Surely the wrath of man will praise You, Elohey Emet (God of Truth); and with the remainder of wrath You will gird Yourself.  You are Shofet Tzedek (Judge of Righteousness); You put down one and exalt another.  In Your hand there is a cup and the wine is red; it is fully mixed; and You will pour it out; surely its scum will all the wicked of the earth drain and drink down.

Therefore I shall make vows to You, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation), and pay them.  Let all who are around You stand in awe and bring presents to You—the sacrifice of praise.  I shall declare Your name forever; I shall sing praises to You, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). I shall give thanks to You, O YHVH - Elohey Tzedek (God of Righteousness); I shall give thanks!  For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 136

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

I give You thanks YHVH - Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), for You are good and Your mercy endures forever.

I give You thanks for You are Elohi (my God) and Your mercy endures forever.

I give You thanks for You are Adonee (my Master/my Lord) and Your mercy endures forever.

You, El Elyon (God Most High), alone do great wonders; You, Bor’ee  (my Creator), by wisdom You made the heavens and You, Boreh Olam (Creator of the Universe), laid out the earth above the waters, You made the great lights, the sun to rule by day, the moon and stars to rule by night, for Your mercy endures forever.

You, Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), struck Egypt in their firstborn; You, Moshee’ah (Savior/Deliverer), brought us, Yisrael, out from among them, with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm.  You divided the Red Sea in two and made us pass through the midst of it.  You overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; You, Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), led us, Your people, through the wilderness; You struck down great kings and slew famous kings, Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and gave their land as a heritage, a heritage to us, Yisrael, Your servant, for Your mercy endures forever.

You, Elohey Yeshua’teynu (God of our Salvation), remembered us in our lowly state, and rescued us from our enemies, You also give food to all flesh, for Your mercy endures forever.

We give thanks to You, Avinu Ba’sha’ma’yim (our Father in Heaven)! For Your mercy truly does endure forever.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 90

Baruch Ata, Y'HoVaH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.

(Bless You, Y'HoVaH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

O Y'HoVaH - Bor’ey’nu (our Creator), before the mountains were brought forth, or prior to forming the earth and the world, You are Elohey’nu (our God), even from everlasting to everlasting.  You turn us to destruction and say, "Return, O children of men."   You carry us away like a flood, while we are asleep.  In the morning we are like grass, which grows up and flourishes, but in the evening it is cut down and withers.  For we have been consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath we are terrified.   Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You Shof’teynu (our Judge), so is Your wrath.

You have set our iniquities before You; our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.  For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh.  The days of our lives are seventy years and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow, for it is soon cut off and we fly away.  So teach us to number our days, Abba, Morey’nu (our Teacher), that we may gain a heart of wisdom.  Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil.

Return, O Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy)!  How long?  For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is passes by and like a watch in the night.   Have compassion on Your servants.  For You, Miphlatey’nu (our Refuge), have been our dwelling place in all generations.  Therefore let Your work appear to us, Your servants, and Your glory to our children.  Let Your beauty, Y'HoVaH K’vodey’nu (our Glory), be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.  O, satisfy us early with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, Y'HoVaH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avinu the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 46

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

You, Elohey Ya’acov, are Miphla’tee (My Refuge), and Chizkee (my Strength), a very present help in trouble. For You, El Shaddai (Almighty), will make desolations in the earth, You will break the bow and cut the spear in two; You will burn the chariots in the fire, thus making wars cease to the ends of the earth.  When You utter Your voice, the earth will melt, the nations will rage, and the kingdoms will be moved.  But I pray, YHVH - M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), even though the earth be shaken and the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea and its waters roar and be troubled; and even though the mountains shake with its swelling, I will not fear; because You, El Ne’eman (Faithful God), are with me.

YHVH – El Elyon (God Most High), You said that there is a river whose streams shall make glad Your city, the kadosh (holy/set-apart) place of Your tabernacle.  You, Misga’bee (my Stronghold), are in the midst of this city; therefore she shall not be moved.  You, Ezree (my Help), shall help her, just at the break of dawn.

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, You have whispered to me to be still, and to know that You are Elohim; thus I will exalt You among the nations.  I will exalt You in the earth!  For You are with me, and You are Who You say You are, Elohey Ya’acov, our Misgav (Stronghold).” Come, behold the works of YHVH - Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe).

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 29

PRAYER PSALM 29

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - El Elyon (Most High), I give unto You glory, honor and strength.  I give unto You the glory due to Your name.  I desire to worship You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign), in spirit, in truth and in the splendor of Kodesh (Holiness).

Your voice, YHVH - El Kavod (God of Glory), thunders over the waters; just as You stand over many waters.  Your voice, Elohey Yisrael is powerful and full of majesty as it breaks the cedars, yes, even the great cedars of Levanon.  You even make Levanon and Sirion skip like a calf, like a young wild ox.

Your voice, El Shadai (Almighty), divides the flames of fire and shakes the wilderness, the Wilderness of Kadesh. You strip the forest bare, but yet Your voice, Your spoken word makes the deer to give birth.  How much more will You give strength to Your people and bless them with peace!

O El Elyon (Most High), You sit forever as King.  You, Malki (my King), were enthroned; even during the days of the Flood. Let everyone who dwells in Your temple shout, ”kavod”.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Prayer Psalm 105

Baruch Ata,

YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), I give thanks to You, and I call upon Your name, YHVH - Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation), singing psalms and remembering Your marvelous works which You have done, Your wonders, and the judgments of Your mouth, making known Your deeds among the peoples; talking of all Your wondrous works and glorying in Your Kadosh (holy/set-apart), Name.

O Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), because I am one of the seed of Avraham Your servant, and a child of Ya’acov, a chosen one, You are Elohi (my God); Your judgments, Shofet Tzedek (Righteous Judge), are in all the earth.  You, El Ne’eman (Faithful God), remember Your covenant forever, the word which You commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant which You made with my father Avraham and Your oath to Yitzchak, and confirming it to Ya’acov for a statute, to Yisrael as an everlasting covenant, saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment of your inheritance.”

When my forefathers were few in number, indeed very few and strangers in it, when they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, You, Moshee’ah (Savior/Deliverer), permitted no one to do them harm; Yes, You rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm."  Moreover You called for a famine in the land; You destroyed all the provision of bread.  You sent a man before them--Yoseph--who was sold as a slave.  His slave masters hurt his feet with fetters and laid him in irons, until the time that Your word came to pass, and Your word tested him.  Then, the king sent and released him; the ruler of the people let him go free.  He made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his elders wisdom.  Later, Yoseph’s father, Yisrael also came into Egypt; Ya’acov dwelt in the land of Ham.

You YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel), increased Your people greatly and made them stronger than their enemies. But then You turned the hearts of their masters to hate them, to deal craftily with Your servants.  However, You sent Moshe, Your servant, and Aaron, whom You had chosen.  They performed Your signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.  You sent darkness and made it dark, but they still rebel against Your word.  You turned their waters into blood and killed their fish.  Their land abounded with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.  You spoke, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), and there came swarms of flies and lice into all their territory.  You gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.  You struck their vines also and their fig trees, and splintered the trees of their territory.  You spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number, and ate up all the vegetation in their land and devoured the fruit of their ground.  You also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength.  You then brought out my forefathers, with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among Your tribes.  Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

You spread over Your people a cloud for a covering and fire to give light in the night.  When they asked You, El Ro’eh (God Who Sees and Provides), for meat, You brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.  You, Tzur Yisrael (Rock of Israel), opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river.  For You remembered Your holy promise, to Avraham Your servant and brought out Your people with joy, and Your chosen ones with gladness.  You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), gave them the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, so that they might observe Your statutes and keep Your Torah.

I will seek You, Elohey Avoti (God of my Fathers).  YHVH, You are Misga’bee (my Stronghold), and Oo’zee (my Might); I will seek Your face always!  Let my heart rejoice as I seek You, YHVH - Ro’yee (my Shepherd), and Mal’kee (my King).  Praise You!

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!
