PRAYER
PSALM 43
Baruch Ata YHVH,
Elohey Yisrael, Avi’nu.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel,
our Father)
O YHVH – Tzu’rey’nu (our Rock), why do You cast us off? Why does our soul feel cast down, despondent
and goes around mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Vindicate us,
El Shof’tey’nu (our Judge), and plead our cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver us from the deceitful and unjust
man! For You are El Chizkey’nu (our
Strength).
We pray, Yeshua’tey’nu
(our Salvation), send
out Your light and Your truth! Let them/Him
lead us and guide us to Your kadosh
(holy/set-apart) hill
and to Your tabernacle. There we will go
to Your altar and offer ourself up to You, Elohey’nu (our
God), a living sacrifice; and on our harps
we will sing songs of praise and thanksgiving.
For You, El Sim’cha’tey’nu (our Joy) are our exceeding joy.
You, El Tikvatey’nu (our
Hope), are the hope of Glory and the One
who lifts up our countenance.
Hallelu-Yah!!! For You YHVH are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham,
Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi’nu the
Almighty reigns!
