Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi’nu
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel,
our Father)
O
YHVH - El Shaddai (God Almighty), how long will the wicked triumph? Will the throne of iniquity, which devises
evil by law, have fellowship with You?
They gather together against the life of the righteous and condemn
innocent blood. They utter speech and
speak insolent things; all the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. They break in pieces Your people, O Elohey
Yisrael (God of Israel),
and afflict Your heritage. They slay the
widow and the stranger and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, "YHVH does not see, nor
does Elohey Ya’acov (God of Jacob), understand."
O
you senseless among the people and you fools, when will you be wise and understand? He who planted the ear, will He not hear? He who formed the eye, will He not see? He who teaches man knowledge and instructs
the nations, will He not correct? YHVH
knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile. But blessed is the man whom You instruct and
teach out of Your Torah, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity,
until the pit is dug for the wicked.
Who
will rise up for us against the evildoers? Who will stand up for us against the
workers of iniquity?
O
YHVH - Elohey Tzedek (God of
Righteousness), to whom vengeance belongs-- shine
forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render
punishment to the proud; bring on them their own iniquity, and cut them off in
their own wickedness; only You, Elohey Tzva’ot (God
of the Armies), will cut them off.
For
You, El Ne’eman (Faithful God), will not cast us off, Your people, nor will You forsake Your
inheritance. But judgment will return to
righteousness, and all those who are upright in heart will follow it.
Because
You, Abba, Ez’rey’nu (our Help), have been our help, our souls did not dwell in the abode
of silence; and when our foot slipped You, Elohey Chesed (God
of Mercy), held us up, even in the multitude of our anxieties
within us. Your comforts delight our souls.
You, YHVH - M’gee’ney’nu
(our Protector/Shield),
are our defense, Tzu’rey’nu (our
Rock), Elo’hey’nu (our God) and Miphla’tey’nu (our Refuge).
Hallelu-Yah!!! For
You, YHVH, are Elohim. You are Elohey
Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.
Avi’nu the Almighty reigns!
