Baruch
Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.
(Bless
You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)
O
YHVH - El Sh’lomee (my Peace), You have instructed me not to fret nor be
envious because of evildoers who prosper in their ways, through scheming wicked
works of iniquity. They borrow and do
not pay back. They plot against the just
and gnash at them with their teeth. The
wicked watch the righteous and seek to slay them. These evildoers have drawn their sword and
have bent their bow, so that they may cast down the poor and needy and slay
those who are of upright conduct.
O
YHVH - El Shofet (Judge), I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading themselves
like native green trees. But You laugh
at them, You see that their day is coming. For You have spoken, that yet a little while
and the lawless shall be no more. Indeed,
evildoers shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb, like
the splendor of the meadows that vanish in the heat of the summer sun, or like
smoke that dissipates as it rises into the sky.
Even the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off and their place
shall be no more. Indeed, they would not
be found even if someone would hunt for them.
Your enemies, Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), shall perish, their
sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. Transgressors shall be destroyed together and
cut off, the future of the wicked shall be cursed by You, the arms of the
wicked shall be broken. Yes, they will
perish, pass away and be no more.
But
as for me, Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven), I pray that You will help me
to cease from anger, forsake wrath, and not be fretful nor envious for it only
leads to harm. But may I be like those
who wait upon You, Elohey Cha’ya’i (my Life), for only then will I inherit the
land.
You
have promised in Your Word, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), if I put my trust in
You, resting, waiting patiently and doing good, then I will dwell in the land
and feed on Your faithfulness. And if I delight myself in You, El Sim’cha’tee (my
Joy), You shall give me the desires of my heart. Therefore I ask You for the wisdom, that I
may truly commit my way to You Elohey Tzid’kee (my Righteousness), and trust You,
that You may bring it to pass. Yes,
Abba, bring forth through me Your righteousness and Your justice, as the light
of the noonday sun.
O El
Sh’lomee (my Peace), You have said that the meek shall inherit the earth, and that
they shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, but
in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. For those blessed by You El Shaddai (Almighty)
shall inherit the earth. O YHVH - Yo’a’tzee (my Counselor), You have declared
that what a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. For the righteous show mercy and give, and
You delight in their ways. You know
their days and You uphold them, that their inheritance shall be forever.
The
steps of a man are established by You, El Elyon (God Most High), and though he
fall he shall not be utterly cast down; for You, Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), uphold
him with Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand), Who is mighty. King David said that when he was young, and even
in his old age he never saw the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging
for bread.
Help
me, Abba, to depart from evil, and to do good, to be merciful and to lend, that
I may dwell in the land and live. For
You, Mal’kee (my King), love justice, and will not forsake Your called-out one,
but will keep and preserve me and cause me to inherit the land and dwell in
it. May Your Torah be in my heart that I
may speak wisdom with my mouth and with my tongue talk of justice. For it is You who will keep my steps from
slipping and will bless my descendants.
For
if I wait upon You, YHVH - Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), and keep Your
ways, I will inherit the land. I will
also see the wicked cut off, because You, M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), will
not leave me in their hands to be condemned by them. You will deliver me from them and save me.
I
thank you, Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer), for You mark the blameless and
observe the upright and give peace, strength and salvation in time of trouble;
therefore, I will put my trust in You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe).
Hallelu-Yah!!! For You YHVH are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham,
Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi the Almighty
reigns!
WOW!!! THAT IS AN AWESOME PSALM!!
