Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi’nu.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel,
our Father)
We will extol You, O YHVH - El Elyon
(Most High), for You have lifted us up, and have not let our foes rejoice over
us. You brought our soul up from the
grave; You have kept us alive, that we should not go down to the pit. But if we do go down there, what profit is
there in our blood? Will the dust praise
You, Elohey Emet (Elohim of Truth); will it declare Your truth?
O YHVH - Roph’ey’nu (our Healer),
when we cry out to You in our supplication, You heal us. But if You hide your face from us, we’re in
trouble.
Hear, YHVH - Go’aley’nu (our Redeemer), and have mercy on us and be
our helper! You, Ezrey’nu (our Helper),
have turned for us our mourning into dancing. You have put off our sackcloth
and clothed us with gladness. YHVH - Ma’oozey’nu
(our Strong Tower), by Your favor You have made our mountain to stand strong
and as a result, now in our prosperity, we say: "We shall never be moved."
We will sing praise to You, El Ro’eh
(God Who Sees and Provides), with all Your redeemed ones, and give thanks at
the remembrance of Your Kadosh (Set-Apart) name. For Your anger may last only for a moment,
but Your favor is for life. Weeping may
endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. To the end that our glory may sing praise to
You and not be silent. O Elohey Yeshu’atey’nu (our Salvation), we will give
thanks to You forever.
Hallelu-Yah!!! For You YHVH are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham,
Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi’nu the
Almighty reigns!
