Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.
(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel,
our Father)
O
YHVH - Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), arise and let Your enemies be scattered; let those also
who hate You flee before You. As smoke
is driven away, so drive them away. As
wax melts before the fire; so let the wicked perish at Your presence, YHVH - Ribon
Olam (Sovereign
of the Universe).
For You will wound the head of Your enemies, the hairy scalp of the one
who still goes on in his trespasses. Rebuke the beasts of the reeds, the herd of
bulls with the calves of the peoples, till everyone submits himself to You with
pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples
who delight in war; crush them in their own blood under our feet, so that the
tongues of our dogs may have their portion of our enemies.
Abba, Moshi’ey’nu
(our Savior/Deliverer), You marched through the wilderness before our forefathers,
providing for them out of Your goodness while they dwelt in it. You made them lie down among the sheepfolds;
and You covered them like the wings of a dove covered with silver, her feathers
with yellow gold. You shook the earth
and the heavens dropped rain; Sinai itself was moved by Your presence. Yes, You, El Ro’eh (God
Who Sees and Provides),
sent plentiful rain, whereby You confirmed Your inheritance to Yisrael, when it
was still poor and weary. You scattered
kings, even while there was snow in Tzalmon.
Their armies fled before them; they fled, and she who remained at home
divided the spoils. For Your chariots, YHVH,
are twenty thousand, even thousands of thousands, when You were among them in
Your kadosh (holy/set-apart) place, in Sinai.
One of Your mountains,
Boreh Olam (Creator
of the Universe), is the mountain of Bashan; a
mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan. But why does that mountain of many peaks fume
with envy? Is it because Mount Tziyon is the mountain that You, Elohey Tziyon (God
of Zion), desire to dwell in? Yes, You will dwell in it forever. You have ascended on high; You have led
captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, even from the rebellious,
that You, Ribon Olam (Sovereign
of the Universe), might dwell there.
Blessed be YHVH - Yeshua’tey’nu (our Salvation), who daily loads us with benefits. Our Elohim is the Elohim
of salvation, and to Him belongs the escape from death. Therefore, Elohey Yeshua’tey’nu (God
of our Salvation) has said, "I shall bring you back
from Bashan; I shall bring you back from the depths of the sea.” For from Your holy habitation You will bring
us back. You will father the fatherless and defend the widows; You will set the
solitary in families. You bring out
those who are bound in fetters, but the rebellious will dwell in a dry land. Let all the righteous be glad and rejoice
before You who dwell in Tziyon!
Because of Your temple in Yeru’shala’yim (Jerusalem), kings will bring presents to You. Envoys will come out of Mitzra’yim (Egypt); Kush (Ethiopia) will quickly stretch out her hands to You, El Elyon (God
Most High).
Many from the nations will see Your procession, Elohey Yisrael, the
procession of Elo’he’nu (our God), Mal’key’nu (our King), in kodesh (holiness/set apartness). The singers will go
before the players on instruments, following after them, but yet among them will
be the maidens playing timbrels. There
is little Binyamin, their leader; the princes of Yehuda and their company; the
princes of Z’vulun and the princes of Naphtali.
Therefore sing to Elohim you kingdoms of the earth; O, sing praises to
YHVH - Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).
To You, Elohey Avotey’nu
(God of our Fathers),
who ride on the heaven of heavens that were of old; indeed, You send out Your
voice, a mighty voice. Your excellence is over Yisrael, and Your strength is in
the clouds. Therefore we shall ascribe
strength to You, O Misga’bey’nu
(our Stronghold). You are more awesome than Your kadosh (holy/set-apart) places. For it is
only You, Tzur Yisrael (Rock of Israel), that give strength and power to Your people. Blessed be Your name, for great will be the
company of those who proclaim Your word.
We
shall sing to You, YHVH - Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel); we shall sing praises to Your name; we shall extol You, who
ride on the clouds; and in Your name, YAH, we shall rejoice before You. we will
bless You in the great congregation of Yisrael, for You are the fountain of Yisrael. You, Cha’yey’nu (our Life) and Chizkey’nu (our Strength), have commanded Your strength in that which You have done
for us. Therefore let the righteous be
glad; let them rejoice before You, YHVH. Yes, let us rejoice exceedingly.
Hallelu-Yah!!! For You, YHVH, are Elohim. You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham,
Yitzchak and Ya’acov. Avi’nu the
Almighty reigns!
