Corporate Prayer Psalm 144

                             Baruch Ata,YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father).

YHVH - Tzu’rey’nu (our Rock), We bless You, Elohey Chas’dey’nu (God of our Mercy), M’tzuda’tey’nu (our Fortress), Misga’bey’nu (our Stronghold) and Miphla’tey’nu (our Refuge), M’gee’ney’nu (our Protector/Shield) and the One in whom we take refuge, You who subdue people under us, and who train our hands for war, and our fingers for battle.

Rescue us; and deliver us from the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak lying words, and whose right hands are right hands of falsehood; but even though man is like a breath; and his days are like a passing shadow; yet You are mindful of him; and You take knowledge of him.

Bow down Your heavens, YHVH - Ribon Olam (Sovereign of the Universe), and come down; touch the mountains; and they shall smoke.  Flash forth lightning and scatter them; shoot out Your arrows and destroy them.  Stretch out Your hand from above; and rescue us and deliver us out of great waters, from the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speaks vain words, and whose right hands are right hand of falsehood.  May our sons be as plants grown up in their youth; may our daughters be as pillars sculptured in palace style.  May our barns be full, supplying all kinds of produce; may our sheep bring forth thousands even tens of thousands in our fields; may our oxen be well-laden; may there be no breaking in nor going out; and may there be no outcry in our streets.  Happy are the people who are in such a state; happy are the people whose Elohim is YHVH!

We will sing a new song to You, Elohey Yeshua’tey’nu (God of our Salvation); on a harp of ten strings we will sing praises to You, to You who gives salvation to kings, and to You who delivered David Your servant from the deadly sword.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

Corporate Prayer Psalm 51

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

O YHVH - Bor’ey’nu (our Creator), You know that we were brought forth in iniquity, and in sin our mother conceived us.  Therefore, we acknowledge our transgressions, and our sin is always before us.   Against You, You only, have we sinned and done evil in Your sight.  Therefore, El Shofet (Judge), You are just when You speak and blameless when You judge.  For You desire truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part You, Elohey Emet (God of Truth), will make us to know wisdom.

O YHVH - Moshi’ey’nu (our Deliverer), have mercy upon us, according to Your loving kindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out our transgressions.  Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity and cleanse us from our sin. Deliver us from the guilt of bloodshed, O YHVH - Yeshua’tey’nu (our Salvation).  Hide Your face from our sins and blot out all our iniquities.  Purge us with hyssop, and we shall be clean; wash us and we shall be whiter than snow.  Make us hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Then create in us a clean heart, O YHVH, and renew a steadfast spirit within us.  Do not cast us away from Your presence and do not take from us Ruach Kod’she’cha (Spirit of Your Holiness).  Restore to us the joy of Your salvation and uphold us by a generous spirit.

For You, El Go’aley’nu (our Redeemer) do not desire sacrifice or delight in burnt offerings, else we would give it. However, the sacrifices that You are interested in are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart; these, O YHVH, You will not despise.  And while our heart is in this condition, we shall teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will be converted to You.

We pray, Abba, in Your good pleasure be merciful to Tziyon and build the walls of Yeru’shala’yim.  Then You will be pleased with the true sacrifices of righteousness, and those who are in Tziyon will burn offerings and whole burnt offerings on Your altar.

O YHVH - Elohey Tzid’kay’nu (God our Righteousness), open our lips, and our mouth will show forth Your praise, and our tongue will sing aloud of Your righteousness.

Corporate Prayer Psalm 73

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avinu.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, our Father)

Truly You, YHVH - Elohey Tziyon (God of Zion), are good to Yisrael and to those who are pure in heart.  But as for us, our feet had almost stumbled, our steps had nearly slipped when we saw the prosperity of the wicked; we were envious of the boastful.  For there are no pangs in their death, and their strength is firm.  They are not in trouble as other men, nor are they plagued like other men.  Pride serves as their necklace, and violence covers them like a garment.  Their eyes bulge with abundance; they have more than the heart could wish. They would even drain the waters out of a full cup and keep on returning to do the same.  They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; they speak loftily as they set their mouth against the heavens, while their tongue walks through the earth.  They say, "How does Elohim know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?"  Behold, these are the ungodly, who are always at ease and increase in riches.  It is sad to think that we were envious of these boastful ones.

Surely we have cleansed our heart in vain and washed our hands in innocence. For all day long we have been plagued and chastened every morning.  If we had said, "we shall speak like them,” behold, we would have been untrue to the generation of Your children, Abba.  When we thought how to understand this, it was too painful for us, until we went into Your sanctuary, YHVH - Shofet Tzedek (Judge of Righteousness); only then did we understand their end.  For You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction.  O, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment!  They are utterly consumed with terrors.  As a dream when one awakes, so You, El Tzadik (Righteous God), when You awake, You will despise their image.  For indeed, those who are far from You will perish, for You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.  Because of this, our hearts were grieved; and we were vexed in our mind.  We were so foolish and ignorant; we were like a beast before You, El Elyon (God Most High).  Nevertheless we are continually with You.  You hold us by Your right hand; and You, Yo’a’tzey’nu (our Counselor), guide us with Your counsel and afterward receive us to glory.

Who have we in Heaven but You, El K’vo’dey’nu (our Glory)? For there is none upon earth that we desire besides You, Abba Ba’sha’ma’yim (Father in Heaven).  Our flesh and our heart may fail, but You are Ma’o’zey’nu (our Strong Tower) and the strength of our heart. You, El Olam (Eternal God), are our portion forever.  Therefore it is good for us to draw near to You, Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), and to put our trust in You, Elohey Yeshua’tey’nu (God of our Salvation), so that we may declare all Your works.
