PRAYER PSALM 79

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - Elohey Tzva’ot (God of the Armies), the nations have come into Your inheritance and defiled Mikdash Kodshe’cha (Your holy/set-apart temple); they have laid Yerusha’la’yim (Jerusalem) in heaps.  The dead bodies of Your servants they have given as food for the birds of the heavens, the flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.  Their blood they have shed like water all around Yerusha’la’yim, and there was no one to bury them.

O Abba, even today we have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to those who are around us.  How long, YHVH?  Will You be angry forever? When will Your jealousy burn like fire against them?  Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not know You and on the kingdoms that do not call on Your name.  For they have devoured us, Ya’acov, and laid waste our dwelling place.  Why should these nations say, "Where is their Elohim?"  Let there be known among the nations in our sight the avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.  Return into our neighbors’ bosom sevenfold their reproach with which they have reproached You, Shofet Tzedek (Judge of Righteousness). 

O Elohey Chesed (God of Mercy), do not remember our former iniquities!  Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us, for we have been brought very low.  Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You and according to the greatness of Your power, preserve those who are appointed to die.  Help us, O Elohey Yeshua’teynu (our Salvation), for the glory of Your name deliver us and provide atonement for our sins, for Your name's sake!  So we, Your people, Yisrael, the sheep of Your pasture, will give You, Go’aleynu (our Redeemer), thanks forever.  We shall show forth Your praise, YHVH, to all generations.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 63

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

Help me, Abba, to remember You; as I lay on my bed; so that during the night watches I shall meditate on You, Elohey Yeshua’tee (God of my Salvation); for You are Elee (My God).  I shall arise early in the morning to seek You; for my soul thirsts for You, Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel); my flesh longs for You in this dry and thirsty world, where there is no living water.  But You will satisfy my soul, as with marrow and fatness; therefore, with joyful lips my mouth will praise You, El Shaddai (Almighty).

There are those, YHVH - M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), who seek my life to destroy it; but You said that they will go into the lower parts of the earth; that they will fall by the sword; and that their portion is for the jackals; and that all those whose mouths speak lies will be stopped.  But my soul will follow close behind You, Ro’yee (my Shepherd); for Y’min’cha (Your Right Hand) upholds me.  Therefore I shall rejoice in You, YHVH - Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer); and everyone who swears by You will glory. 

I shall look for You in the sanctuary, Melech HaKavod (King of Glory), to behold Your power and Your glory.  For You have been Mach’see (my Shelter); therefore, in the shadow of Your wings I shall rejoice; for Your loving kindness is better than life; my lips will praise You; thus shall I bless You.  While I live, Abba, I shall lift up my hands in Your name.

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 5

Baruch Ata,

 YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

Give ear to my words, YHVH - Elohey Yisrael; consider my meditation; give heed to the voice of my cry, You are Elohi (my God), Mal’kee (my King), only to You I will pray.

My voice You shall hear in the morning, YHVH - El Cha’ya’i (my Life); in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.  For You are not an Elohim who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You.  The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.

You shall destroy those who speak falsehood, YHVH - Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  You abhor the bloodthirsty and deceitful man, for there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue.  Pronounce them guilty, O El Shofet (Judge)!  Let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

But as for me, I will come into Your house, the house of Ya’acov.  In the multitude of Your mercy, and in awe of You, I will worship in Your holy temple.

Lead me, YHVH - Ro’eh Yisrael (Shepherd of Israel), in Your righteousness and because of my enemies, make Your way straight before my face.

Avi, El Sim’cha’tee (my Joy), I will rejoice when I put my trust in You; I will even shout for joy because You defend me.  Let all of us who love Your name be joyful in You.  For You, YHVH - Tzid’kee (my Righteousness), and M’gee’nee (my Protector/Shield), will bless the righteous with favor and You will surround us as a shield.

Prayer Psalm 116

Baruch Ata,

 YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father).

The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me, all that I found was trouble and sorrow.  This I believed, therefore I spoke, "I am greatly afflicted."  I said in my haste, "All men are liars."  But then I called upon Your name YHVH - Mephal’tee (my Rescuer), with this simple request: "O YHVH, I implore You to deliver my soul!"  You, El Ra’chum (Compassionate God), are gracious and righteous; yes, You, Elohi (my God), are merciful, for I was brought low; and You, Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), saved me and now continue to preserve me.

O my soul, return to your rest, for You, YHVH - Ro’ee (God Who Sees and Provides for me), have dealt bountifully with me.  You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from falling.  For precious in Your sight is the death of Your holy ones.

 

What shall I render to You, El Shaddai (God Almighty), for all Your benefits toward me?  I will take up the cup of salvation and call upon Your name, YHVH - Moshi’ee (my Savior/Deliverer).  I will pay my vows to You, Mal’kee (my King), now in the presence of all Your people, Yisrael; I will walk before You in the land of the living.

O YHVH - Elohey Avoti (God of my Fathers), Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov (God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds.  I shall offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving and shall call upon Your name, YHVH.  I love You, Avi (my Father), because You have heard my voice and my supplications.  You have inclined Your ear to me; therefore I shall call upon You, Cha’ya’i (my Life), as long as I live.  I shall pay my vows to You, now in the presence of all Your people, in the courts of Your house, in the midst of you, O Yeru’shala’yim.  Praise YHVH - Elohey Yisrael (God of Israel)!

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You, YHVH, are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 81

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

"Hear, O My people, and I shall admonish you; O Yisrael, if you will listen to Me, for I am YHVH - Elohey’chem (your [plural] God), Who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

"Blow the Shofar at the time of the new moon and at the full moon, on your solemn feast day.  For this is a statute for you, Yisrael and a law that I, Elohey Ya’acov (the God of Jacob), established with your forefather, Yoseph, as a testimony, when he went throughout the land of Egypt, in a land whose language you did not understand.  I removed your shoulder from the burden; and your hands were freed from the baskets.  You called when you were in trouble and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder.  I tested you at the waters of Merivah;  but you, My people, would not heed My voice and you, Yisrael, rejected Me as king over you; so I gave you over to the stubbornness of your own heart, to walk in your own counsels.

"But if you, My people, in this generation, would listen to Me, and walk in My ways, and have no foreign god among you; nor worship any foreign god, I would soon subdue your enemies, and turn My hand against your adversaries, especially those who hate Me and pretend submission to Me for their fate is sealed forever.  But I shall feed you, Yisrael, with the finest of wheat, and with honey from the rock I shall satisfy you.  Now open your mouth wide, and I shall fill it.”

Raise a song and strike the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the lute!  Sing aloud to YHVH - Elohey Chizkeynu (God of our Strength), make a joyful shout to Elohey Ya’acov (God of Jacob)! 

Hallelu-Yah!!!  For You YHVH are Elohim.  You are Elohey Yisrael, Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov.  Avi the Almighty reigns!

PRAYER PSALM 8

Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - Elohey Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’acov, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, for You have set Your glory above the heavens.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, I wonder how it is that You can even be mindful of me or any man.  How is it that You even bother visiting us?  Who am I that You, El Boreh Olam (Creator of the Universe), are even mindful of me?  But even more amazing, You, Elohey Tzva’ot Yisrael (God of the Armies of Israel), have ordained strength to nursing infants and babes, for out of their mouth You have silenced the enemy and the avenger.

Even though You have made me a little lower than the angels, Your desire is to crown me with glory and honor through the redemptive work of Your Son, M’shi’chee (my Messiah), and as a result of my being in Him, You have given me dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under my feet, all sheep and oxen--even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.

O Avi (my Father), YHVH - Elohey Yisrael, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

PRAYER PSALM 52

Baruch Ata, YHVH, Elohey Yisrael, Avi.

(Bless You, YHVH - Elohim of Israel, my Father)

O YHVH - El Elyon (God Most High), I pray, Abba, for the so-called mighty man who boasts in evil; who does not make You his strength, but puts his trust in the abundance of his riches and strengthens himself in his wickedness.  His tongue devises destruction like a sharp razor working deceitfully.  He loves evil more than good, lying rather than speaking righteousness.  He loves all devouring words, and in His mouth is a deceitful tongue.  Yet Your goodness, Av Ha’ra’cha’mim (Father of Mercies), is always before him.  But if he does not repent, El Shofet (Judge), You will destroy him forever; You will take him away and pluck him out of his dwelling place, and uproot him from the land of the living.  

However, those who are righteous will see and fear and will laugh at him, saying, “I am like a green olive tree in the House of YHVH; I trust in the mercy of YHVH - Elohey Yisrael forever and ever”. 

I shall praise You always, because You have done it; and in the presence of Your called-out ones, I shall wait on Your name, YHVH - Yeshua’tee (my Salvation), for it is good.
